This sit-to-stand transfer aid gives carers a safe, controlled way to move someone between sitting and standing, while letting users who are able take an active part in the transfer themselves. Adjustable padded knee support and an anti-slip footplate hold the user securely, and ergonomic multi-grip handles give both the user and carer solid hand positions throughout the movement. A hands-free foot pedal adjusts the leg width from 420 to 800mm to position it around beds, chairs and toilets, while split swing seat pads give supportive seating during the transfer and swing aside for easy access. Rated to 180kg on medical-grade swivel castors with lockable rear wheels, it manoeuvres smoothly around a care space and locks firmly in place for each transfer.
