XRT Limited is a provider of neuro spinal microscopes, ENT microscopes, dental microscopes, ophthalmology microscopes, gynaecology microscopes, co observation systems, surgical microscope adapters and research microscopes. They are also providers of the X-Tract Version 4.2 Software for x-ray phase contrast imaging.
This X-Tract Version Software is available as a downloaded application for evaluation and for use on a pay-per-job basis. X-Tract is a fully featured software imaging suites for x-ray phase contrast imaging and micro-tomography. These suites contain tools for pre-processing, phase retrieval and tomographic reconstruction. X-Tract may be purchased outright or may be downloaded from the Web and used under STI ‘Software Toll Infrastructure’.
STI is a system that maintains a real-time connection between the downloaded X-Tract and a server, which manages user accounts. The system features an easy to use interface with a simple toolbar. The graphical user interface has context-sensitive menus, toolbar, status bar, multiple unlimited view windows (to display images) and dialog boxes to provide user access to major functions of the program. Functional modules, which require long calculations are implemented using separate execution threads ('multithreading') to ensure the responsiveness of the GUI.
IDM (Image Display and Manipulation) allows the user to display, zoom, resize and scroll an image, adjust brightness, contrast, gamma and histogram of the image and also view individual pixel data, statistical information for a selected sub-image and plot cross-sections of image intensity.
