The eZono 3000 distributed by Ultramedix Australasia Pty Ltd are portable ultrasound systems designed for anaesthetists. It accelerates the learning curve with patented cue cards, a multi-media learning and workflow tool for vascular access and regional anaesthesia.
Since the introduction of eZono 3000 last year with its innovative cue cards and unique approach to easy ultrasound the innovation has continued with a number of upgrades.
Upgrades are based on customer feedback and clinical collaboration. In version 1.9 of the ultrasound system, the image style concept derives from the fact that different clinicians with different experiences like different image styles as perception heavily influences sonoanatomic interpretation. Furthermore different styles reveal different anatomic features better.
eZono portable ultrasound systems therefore introduced the unique concept of image style in version 1.9 giving the user the choice of how they like to view their images while maintaining simplicity. They can now select any of four imaging styles. Style selections include:
- Raw & Sharp: Image processing with least processing for most detail
- Classical Radiology: Image processing delivering a more classical high grey image Simple & Smooth: Image processing smooths and enhances the image for a simpler view of major anatomical structures
- Directional Contrast: A special contrast processing technique to enhance edges and tissue structures
