U-Tech Medical was established in 1994 by John Youssef as a medical services provider specialising in repairs and maintenance of medical equipment. They now provide a range of medical equipment including neuro spinal microscopes, ENT microscopes, dental microscopes, ophthalmology microscopes, gynaecology microscopes, co observation systems, surgical microscope adapters and research microscopes. The company also supplies IPA-1000 Infusion Pump Analysers. These pump analysers are designed to test flow rates of intravenous infusion pumps to ensure their correct operation. They are able to test up to two pumps simultaneously by the volumetric method in milliliters per hour. All tests are controlled by a microprocessor that calculates and displays the results. The fluid path is unobstructed, making them easy to clean. The tubes are plastic, not glass so they are rugged. Cables and chambers are interchangeable. These units auto identify each chamber when it is plugged in. The chamber calibration is stored electronically in each chamber, so all units are interchangeable. These units are designed to be tough, simple, portable and very user friendly. These analysers are easy to use, easy to clean and provide large graphics display with a cursor. They have auto chamber recognition with two chamber sizes--3.5 and 35 ml.
