Tech-Assist Products offer two sizes of patient transfer board for transferring patients from bed to carriage and for similar requirements where the gap and height of the transfer are small. Since the thickness of the patient transfer board is 4.5 mm, it is more suitable for small gap transfers and not for wide gap transfers. It is capable of regaining its original shape from any depression and also allows various forms of radiation such as X-rays. It is provided with grips in the underside for easy usage and a hole is given for carers' use for cleaning and disinfecting.
The patient transfer board offered by Tech-Assist Products has rounded edges to facilitate trouble-free transfer of patients. To store this patient transfer board, a hole is also provided to hang it. Two sizes of single hand hold of patient transfer board are offered by them. The width and thickness being same at 380 mm and 4.5 mm respectively for both the boards, the length of one model is 780 mm and for another model it is 1000 mm. They also offer three sizes of double hand patient transfer boards that have the same features of the single hand transfer boards. The width and thickness of these boards are 580 mm and 4.5 mm respectively. The lengths of the double hand patient boards are 1180 mm, 1500 mm and 1800 mm respectively.
