Surgical Synergies now offer the Scar Management Elastomer. These are liquid-style elastomers that provide excellent reproduction of detail and control of set up time. Their intimate contact over the scar helps reduce hypertrophic scar tissue formation. Custom-moulded inserts can provide shock absorption to sensitive areas that may be prone to injury or re-injury. These elastomers are ideal for protective soft splints for athletic injuries. Their set up time is controlled with a separate catalyst. The cured insert is non-toxic and non-irritating. These elastometers can be easily cleaned with soap and water. These kits offered with them are complete with mixing sticks, measuring cups and instructions. They come in various sizes of 0.45 kg, 2.26 kg, 20 g.
