Epicor™ Cardiac Ablation Systems are capable of ablating an entire atrial wall without causing damages to the neighbouring tissues. These systems enhance the performance, safety and more that cannot be obtained by conventional energy sources. Epicor™ Cardiac Ablation Systems are constructed using four different devices. The UltraCinch™ Ablation Devices are placed near the patients’ atrium to apply HIFU to the tissue of interest. They also help to create a continuous lesion known as the box lesion in a single step procedure. UltraWand™ Handheld Ablation Devices help surgeons to create complementary lesions in a manner similar to that of UltraCinch™ Ablation Devices. The Epicor PAS Systems guide surgeons to properly place the device on the cardiac tissue. Ablation Control Systems (ACS) displays various parameters such as temperature, power and more for easy display to the users.
