Orthotic devices are customised devices or orthoses designed to provide functional support to specific body parts. Orthotic devices are available in several types including custom-made devices, prefabricated devices, orthopaedic shoes and compression garments.
Custom-made orthotic devices are designed using casts, measurements or tracings and manufactured using superior quality materials. The product range includes thermoplastic orthoses, long and short leg callipers, in-shoe foot orthotics or arch supports, back braces, surgical corsets and hernia braces, silicone ankle foot orthoses as well as knee orthoses. Prefabricated orthoses are available in a wide range and include silicone in-shoe foot orthotics, back braces, surgical corsets and hernia trusses, maternity support braces, prefabricated knee orthoses and supports, bed-resting orthoses, fracture braces as well as shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, ankle and other joint braces and supports.
Orthopaedic shoes and boots are offered in a fitted range against individual orders and are designed for users requiring extra depth as well as width in their footwear. These orthotic devices can be supplied for people with conditions such as diabetic foot, bunions or oedema.
