Started in 1956, Smith & Nephew provide medical products that help in the healing of the human body and more.
They supply 400 Insufflator Systems that are integrated with TAP for the enhancement of the delivery process. These systems are ideal for the delivery of CO2 gas for laproscopy. They do not require the help of an external control for the delivery process and thus help in humidification with ease. 400 Insufflator Systems feature an in-line mechanism that lie close to the patients to enhance the CO2 delivery. They are also built with safety mechanisms that help to maintain the gas flow rate and also prevent changes caused in pressure during the surgical process. In the presence of a digital OR System, 400 Insufflator Systems can act as HERMES voice and the EDAM module helps to control the HERMES Pendant. Gas warming and humidification is possible with the help of a single port or with two different ports. Users can also deliver voice commands with the help of HERMES-Ready and the EDAM module that are connected using a RS-232 interface. 400 Insufflator Systems feature safety devices that maintain a constant pressure of 15 mm Hg within the intra-abdominal cavity. The front panel contains three different sections for control of the gas supply, flow rate control and pressure regulation.
