Designed and manufactured in Australia, the new SmartLink International Medi Link is an innovative response system which works by activating a radio key; worn either on a key ring, around the neck or on the wrist with a waterproof wristwatch strap. By pressing the button, the user sends a distress call to a 24 hour monitoring centre via telephone lines. If necessary, assistance can be sent straight to the location of the patient.
The Medi Link now includes a variety of new features such as special noise filters to combat ADSL interference, automatic line balancing circuitry, innovative time and date features, technology which enables software upgrades and revisions over the telephone, as well as a large backlit, high intensity LCD display for full visual description of events.
