CEREC Bluecam possesses handheld acquisition camera which uses a high visible blue light LED to capture clear digital impressions. It offers easy and short acquisition time, since the camera automatically acquires images. Therefore, these compact cameras also helps in sensing the right time to capture images without any intervention from the user. The blue light emitted by the camera illuminates the treatment sites correctly and allows the dentists to capture all inaccessible areas such as acquiring the accurate optical impressions in oral cavity. Dentists can place these dental imaging systems directly on the tooth or capture images leaving a small clearance from surrounding surfaces with the camera support. The automatic capture mode captures half arch impression in 40 seconds and full arch impression in 2 minutes. The diode emits a short wavelength blue light and thus, it applies both to single tooth and multiple images.
CEREC Bluecam from Sirona Dental Systems is designed with built-in shake detection systems that ensure that images are captured accurately without any shudders. Optics that is used in these cameras has been optimised for a higher depth of fields and accuracy. They are also equipped with increased computing powers to display most precise 3D digital models.
