Conseal f sealants from SDI Limited use the SDI sealant technology along with an intensive initial fluoride boost and long term fluoride treatment. These sealants release fluoride using the mixture of particles and high surface-to-area volume ratios of their filler component. The fluoride released helps in caries prevention and remineralisation. These tooth sealants are low viscous liquids that flow fast and deep into the tooth pits and fissures. They also eliminate the space for bacterial growth and gives optimum mechanical retention. The tight seal of these sealants utilises the UDMA resin system to reduce shrinkage. The low viscosity of these dental sealants increases the acid’s surface contact to enhance the penetration level and thereby increasing the strength of the mechanical bond.
