They can be worn on top of compression stockings, so patients are less likely to fall when they get out of bed or while walking on vinyl, wood or tiled flooring. Pelican’s bed slippers can also be worn on top of ordinary slippers. These non-slip bed slippers do not contain any stitches in the heel section, so they do not cause bed sores for the wearer.
Pelican’s Non-slip Bed Slippers are robust, at the same time they are made of breathable material so it is gentle for the user. The Velcro tabs provided with these bed slippers can be fitted on both sides so it prevents the slippers falling off from the feet. Patients who are wearing these non-slip bed slippers should be kept under constant observation; otherwise they may dislodge the bed slippers due to restlessness.
These non-slip bed slippers are either hand or machine washed and can be reused on the same patient until disposal.
