Pelican Manufacturing offers Heat Sealed – 4 Way Stretch Cover Sacral Cushions to reduce the pressure on the coccyx area while sitting. Cushions in these 4 way stretch cover items are scooped out in the rear, so there is less pressure on the coccyx area while sitting. The front part of the cushion is sloped downward to avoid pressure under legs. Undersides of the cushion are sloped, so that they can be flat when used on a wheelchair. 

Cushions of these 4 way Stretch cover items have memory foam on the top with firm resilient lower foam underneath. The webbing at four corners helps to hold the cushion and the patient intact in the case of an accident fall. They are completely heat sealed to prevent cross infection at the event of too many people using the same cushion in a general hospital. The air tube fitted along with the cushion will transfer the air in the cushion to a reservoir when the patient sits down, and it releases the air to the cushion when the patient rises up. These cushions can be used on lounge chairs too. They do not contain any sewn seams or openings for zips, Velcro or fasteners. Users can also avail spare cushion covers that are available in polyester and waterproof material.
