Handi-lifts offered by Pelican are widely used in many hospitals and health care units to transfer patients from bed to chair or wheel chair without much hassle. They are not advisable to use without the assistance of one or more nursing staff.
These handi-lift systems feature a light and a comfortable sling made from a very strong material. The sling will mould to the patient’s body to provide comfort. There are four thick foam padded handles to assist the nursing staff while transferring the patient. These handi-lifts can be neatly rolled to fit in to a pocket, so they come handy when there is a need to transfer patients in a critical situation. They can be wiped with a disinfectant and need to be frequently inspected for wear and tear.
These handi-lifts are available in different sizes such as small, medium, large and extra large. Measurement of slings does not include their handles. Requests to customise these products according to the patients’ need are also considered. They should be either hand or machine washed with temperature not exceeding beyond 80 degree Celsius.
