Based in Australia, Optech Diagnostic & Surgical offers Spectralis HRA + OCT Machines that are used for the diagnosis of eye retina. These systems combine the confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy and spectral-domain OCT. They provide high-quality images and also detect the small changes in the retina that might need a different treatment. These systems scan the retina at 40,000 scans per second.
Spectralis incorporates the advanced SLO technology that tracks the eye and also guides the OCT to the selected location. They feature TruTrack automatic retinal recognition technology and noise reduction technology that eliminates static images and provides fine details in the retinal layers. Heidelberg provides these systems in three different models with two, five or six imaging modes.
