Light source fiber optic bronchoscopy systems are available in two models namely, EVIS EXERA CLV-180 Light Source and OES CLK-4 Light Source.
EVIS EXERA CLV-180 Light Sources have a slim profile and work with the CV-180 video processor. They can also be used with EVIS videoscopes and OES fiberoptic endoscopes. These devices have an HDTV-dedicated rotating RGB filter that optimises the performance of HDTV-compatible EXERA II endoscopes. They contain a 300 watt xenon lamp and a three step insufflation adjustment. They are also equipped with automatic brightness control and a halogen emergency lamp.
Light source fiber optic bronchoscopy systems also offer OES CLK-4 Light Sources, 6 kg models, which can work with all Olympus OES fiberscope. They have small and compact profile and have versatile features. These light sources are ideal for a number of routine fiber-endoscopic procedures and are suitable for outpatient environment. They are equipped with 150 watt halogen lamp and an integral air pump for insufflation and lens irrigation. These light sources are portable and hence are easy to be carried.
