Maestro Dental & Cosmetics Pty. Ltd. is a manufacturer and supplier of a range of dental products. Their dental etching gels include normal viscosity and low viscosity gels. Normal viscosity etching gels have been designed to etch dentine and enamel. These are inorganically thickened gels with easy-to-wash-off particles that leave no residue. The dark blue colours of these etching gels provide a strong contrast to the tooth and allow accurate application. These gels are packaged in plastic syringes, which are free from lubricants that are normally found in syringes with rubber plungers causing bond strength reduction. These gel filled syringes when used with the supplied 23 gauge blunt needles with 0.6mm openings allow controlled direct extrusion. This allows precise and easy access into difficult to reach areas of the mouth. Dental etching gels are ideal for bonding composites, veneers, orthodontic brackets and various cosmetic dentistry applications.
Normal viscosity gels are available in packs of 10 units along with 2ml syringes and 23G blunt tips. Low viscosity etching gels are also supplied in syringes with 26 gauge blunt needles that have a 0.4mm opening for controlled direct extrusion and easy access into areas such as narrow pits and fissures. These low viscosity green coloured etching gels are specifically used for pit as well as fissure sealing apart from orthodontic and other cosmetic dentistry applications.
