Lotus Dental  specialises in early interceptive orthodontic solutions as well as adult orthodontic solutions. The clinic provides solutions for teeth straightening, jaw posture correction as well as balancing muscles and jaw joints. Malocclusions caused by functional problems such as incorrect swallowing, mouth breathing and jaw position are corrected by early intervention and treatment, which can also prevent eruption of permanent teeth. These early interceptive orthodontic solutions help in avoiding extraction of permanent teeth. Chiropractors and osteopaths working with the company offer treatments to correct any body imbalances that might affect the teeth and jaw development. Strengthening the immune system through diet modification and nutritional supplements is also done using these co-treatment approaches.

Aligners that are almost invisible are used to treat erupted teeth. These clear plastic aligners are used to gradually straighten the teeth and have been developed using digital dental models and three dimensional imaging. Small metal or ceramic braces and tooth coloured brackets are also provided, which are bonded to the teeth with a series of wires for 9 – 12 months. Orthodontic solutions for adults are provided for cosmetic and health reasons.

Temporomandibular junction or TMJ disorders and symptoms such as headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, blocked sinuses as well as ear problems are corrected by chirodontic co-treatment procedures. Services of osteopaths, chiropractors, massage therapists, physiotherapists, acupuncturists as well as naturopaths are used for this purpose. Retaining the orthodontic corrections is made easier with retainers offered by the company, which are to be worn by the patients for 1 – 2 years following the orthodontic treatment. Regular monitoring of the teeth for movement or bite problems is also carried out in a planned manner.
