Gynaecological electrodes designed by Utah Medical are made specifically to be used in electrosurgery. These electrodes are also known as UtahLoop round loop since they have a distinctive “Y” shape. The “Y” shape of these electrodes provides greater loop support and increased visibility during surgical cutting procedure.
These gynaecological electrodes come with a patented Safe-T-Gauge that enables the surgeon to set the maximum depth of excision thus preventing excessive excising of tissues during the surgery.
