The HealtHygenic Wipeclean Pillow, available from Haines Medical Australia , comes with an attached bacteria proof, waterproof PVC cover sewn onto the pillow. This cover cannot be removed however there are small areas at each end of the pillow which allows air to enter and leave.
The Wipeclean Pillow is designed to better meet infection control guidelines as it can be easily wiped down and cleaned with disinfectants and sanitisers. The pillow is soft and suitable for sleeping on, is fire retardant and bacteria resistant. The featured PVC cover also eliminates the need for separate covers which require frequent washing; saving on expenses.
