In order to provide correct imaging values, these extraoral imaging units feature an Automatic Exposure Control and Automatic Spine Compensation. There are three light lines which take care of the right positioning. The Frankfurt and mid-sagittal lights provide proper angulations of the head and the occlusal correction takes care of the Occlusion correction light. Movement of the patient is controlled due to a chin rest and bite fork.
