Esaote G-scans systems are musculoskeletal MRI systems, which cover the foot, ankle, knee, hip, spine, shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist. These scan devices can be tilted in both horizontal and vertical position to give a better idea of the condition of the pathologies. These medical devices are low maintenance units, and they feature hydraulic tilting mechanism which moves from 0 to 90 degree. These compact scanning systems have a 0.25 Tesla field and easily fit even in small spaces. They consume less power, around 3KW in a normal 220/110V power outlet. These G-scan systems come with an ergonomic patient table, light patented RF Shielding, optimised coils and pre-defined sequences and protocols. Some of the sequences and examination protocols can be customised as per the user needs.
These MRI units give extra diagnostic capabilities to weight-bearing examinations and have MSK settings, which provide all imaging sequences. They also have multi planar scouts, real time imaging tools for the positioning of patients, a windows based user interface and DICOM connectivity.
