Stella Surgical Lights from Draeger Medical Australia are made particularly for surgeon’s individual requirement with the new DuoOptic lighting concept. Stella Surgical Lights contain two optical systems that are joined on an optical axis. Both these systems have their own lenses, filters and reflectors. These halogen lamps provide extra high-contrast depth lighting that is required while operating. Stella Surgical Lights can provide a light field diameter of 230mm. They operate at a light intensity of 160 klx. These systems can also provide lights to the area surrounding the wound and deep inside of the patient. They support the stereoscopic vision and also remove all shadows from the area.
These lighting systems have an identical colour temperature of 4200 Kelvin. They use 1300mm long light tube that creates good colour recognition. The position of these lights does not need to be changed during the operation. The surgeon can also personally adjust the light intensity and the depth of illumination according to the requirement of the area to be operated.
