Based in Australia, Dental Concepts incorporates high sensitivity imaging plate readout technology that provides high-quality images with a wide dynamic range through Digora Optime.
Digora Optime Digital Phosphor Plate systems are used to capture accurate details such as 0.6mm root canal files. They have got a flexible pixel size to capture image in fine modes staring from 40 micrometers to as high as micrometers. Images captured through these systems are in fourteen bits gray scale. They can measure a smallest area identifiable on an image as a discrete separate unit of 12.5 lp per millimetre. These digital plate systems take four to seven seconds to display the read out.
Digora Optime Digital Phospor Plate Systems are operated with help of a computer and the connection between them is established to Ethernet card. There are four sizes of imaging plates available for these machines to capture the images. These imaging systems weigh 7 kg and their dimensions are 191 x 221 x 94mm (H X W x D) respectively. They operate with voltages ranging from 100 to 240 Volts and consume less than 1.3 amperes of current. Digital Phospor Plate Systems require a pressure of 700 to 1060 hectopascal.
