Britex are aiming to make the task of specifying laboratory sinks and laboratory bowls easy with its new catalogued range of custom made lab sinks.
Traditionally, stainless steel lab sinks have needed to be fully custom specified from scratch. However, now Britex Stainless Steel have used their 70-plus years of experience and come up with a range of standard sink profiles that can be customised to suit each project’s specific requirements. They are all manufactured in Australia from grade 316 acid resistant stainless steel.
Variables of the stainless steel sinks that make them customisable to any project include:
- The size, position and number of integrated bowls
- The overall sink size
- The option of a corrugated, tapered drainer section for improved drainage and drying lab
For hygiene, the tap holes can be integrated into the sink’s recessed area to ensure any drips and water runoff from the installed tapware drains into the bowl.
Available in four standard, customisable configurations, Britex laboratory sinks can be supplied with WaterMark certified, solid grade 316 stainless steel plug and waste outlets.
As such, they provide a complete acid resistant fixture suitable for school science rooms, laboratories and research labs.
