Australian Locum Medical Service (ALMS) provide deputising services to Perth and Melbourne with overseas Doctors having been recruited for contracts since 1978.
About Locum
Recruitment Services
from ALMS
ALMS offer Locum work contracts of a minimum of 13 weeks which involve between 48-60 hours of work each week. Medical Practitioners in Australia are paid under a simple fee for service basis which means the harder you work the more money you can make.
ALMS agreements offer Doctors variable commision rates with those paying ALMS a higher commision receiving a subsidised airfare, furnished accommodation, a car and full medical defence cover.
Locum Recruitment Services Benefits
Locum work in Australia feature the following advantages
Earnings - choice of commission perctentage structure
Travel - subsidised air ticket of up to $2600 in value
Accommodation - Fully furnished two bedroom apartmentment available under the higher commission rate
Car - Company car available under the higher commission rate
Medical Equipment and Bag - Australian Locum Medical Services will supply you with a comprehensively equipped medical bag
Rosters - made up four weeks in advance with 8 or 12 our shifts
Visas - Australian Locum Medical Services provide sponsership for resident visas
Patients - are not tied to one particular doctor
Communications between GPs and Locums - Locums are provided with GPs instructions for the management of their patients
