Asp Plastics Pty Ltd. was established in 1973 in Australia. It is an injection moulding company that offers automatic blood pressure monitors, vital sign monitors, ambulatory blood pressure monitor, manual blood pressure monitors and ear thermometers. ASP Healthcare Pty Ltd has developed Fitstick Containers which helps to reduce the risks of needle stick injuries from discarded needles. They design products which help to reduce the spread of blood borne viruses.
ASP Healthcare was one of the first companies to develop harm reduction products. Fitstick Containers PA001/001 offered by the company are injection moulded single use containers. A single syringe is inserted into the containers after usage and locked into them by the locking arm system inside the containers. These containers allow the safe disposal of a single syringe. They destroy the needle rendering it unusable.
The container’s length is 107mm. Their dimensions are 26.5 x14mm (top) 12 x 14.5mm (body). They are pen shaped containers. They are for diabetics and injecting drug users, first aid and discreet remote users.
Their products meet the British Standard (BS 7320) and the Australian Standard (AS 4031). ASP Healthcare has state of the art machinery and an experienced packing team that can pack products customised to the needs of clients. All the products are extensively tested to ensure that they are of the highest quality.
