Ideally suited for repeated usage, the ThermoScan ExacTemp Ear Thermometers maintain accuracy through repeated temperature readings. Ear thermometers are effective only if they come in contact with the ear drum for an accurate reading of the heat generated by the ear drum. To ensure this Braun has developed the guidance system for these ear thermometers that ensures accurate positioning. The ExacTemp light flashes for the few seconds it takes for these temperatures to be measured then lights up continuously once the temperature reading has been taken.
