Several suppliers of specialized equipment to the Australian healthcare industry are being revitalized under the Aidacare banner within a family business that enhances the caring reputations and service capabilities for which they were previously known.
The new Aidacare group unites companies with more than 25 years industry experience. Aidacare is a family run healthcare organization, comprising 15 of its own locations in NSW, Victoria, Qld, SA and Tasmania and 40 partner network locations across the country.
It brings together the skills, industry knowledge and credibility of more than 160 dedicated specialist healthcare staff including those drawn from the former Admed, Lifestyle and Rehab, CVMS and StateMed Tasmania organisations.
“These organisations previously risked losing their identities and their values when they were subjected to corporate acquisition and consolidation over recent years. The corporatized ethos – one size fits all - did not suit the individually focused caring qualities and local and regional strengths for which they were known,” said Aidacare Chairman, Bill Garland.
Garland is a member of the leadership team that is revitalizing the business with the enthusiastic assistance of long-time staff of the organizations that now comprise Aidacare to focus and enhance the strengths that these previously flourishing private organizations built up in such areas as:
- Ward use equipment, rehabilitation products and special recuperative services for hospitals, post-operative rehabilitation, nursing homes and palliative care.
- CASE (customised and specialised equipment) services and equipment used by occupational therapy professionals for clients with special permanent support needs.
- Extensive ranges of Aged Care products, equipment and services for individuals and care providers to facilitate mobility and daily living needs
- Preventative Maintenance, including Service and Maintenance teams that supply in-field service support for equipment and undertake preventative maintenance at age care facilities and hospitals to ensure equipment is in good and safe condition to operate and that accreditation is maintained.
