Medic Media International Pty Ltd supplies multiple casualty simulation kits which are useful for training nurses in higher level bandaging skills and patient care. They provide several kinds of complicated wounds for testing the technical skills of nurses. This includes one compound fracture of humerus, upper arm and tibia, one sucking wound of chest, one open amputation and one gunshot wound of palm. These kits also offer lower leg wounds and bleeding strap-on wounds. Reservoir bags and pump assembly are also provided. For simulating glass embedded wounds, broken Plexiglas is supplied (1 package).
Multiple casualty simulation kits come with a range of accessories. They include three spatulas, an atomiser mist sprayer, coagulant makeup blood (one bottle) and also methyl cellulose for blood thickening purpose (1 package). Other accessories provided include three tongue depressors made of wood, grease paint in red, blue, brown, white colours, 24 stick-on lacerations (assorted types), one casualty simulation wax and body adhesive for stick-on wounds. Powder is provided to make three gallons of simulated blood (3 packages).
