3M offers the Littmann range of stethoscopes known worldwide for their quality, precision, acoustical performance and innovative design. Littmann stethoscopes are available in a wide range of models to meet comprehensive auscultation requirements. Their product range includes cardiology stethoscopes, teaching stethoscopes, paediatric and infant stethoscopes, electronic stethoscopes with ambient noise reduction as well as classic stethoscopes. Teaching stethoscopes are designed with two headsets enabling the instructor and student to use the instrument simultaneously. These stethoscopes are available with traditional two-sided chest-pieces and single-sided tunable diaphragm chest-piece.
Littmann’s teaching stethoscopes are available in two options: Master Classic II stethoscopes are provided with a single-sided tunable diaphragm chest-piece and Master Classic II SE stethoscopes come with double-sided chest-pieces offering both bell and tunable diaphragm modes. Both models of teaching stethoscopes are provided with black and burgundy tubes for the instructor and student to differentiate their respective headsets. These diagnostic stethoscopes come with Littmann snap tight soft-sealing eartips for superior acoustic seal and comfortable fit. The headsets are designed to enhance user comfort and better acoustic seal. Non-chill rim and diaphragm are provided to enhance patient comfort. The single lumen tubing in these stethoscopes is lightweight as well as durable and can be folded easily without kinking.
